Today's #studentlifetips is all about STUDENT UNIONS.

Most post-secondary institutions have student unions that are run by students, for students. Here you can access nearly anything needed to support you in your academic journey. Common services offered include advocacy, access to the health plan, clubs and student events, discounts on campus, in the community, and so much more. The best part is that if the service you are looking for is not offered by the student union, they will 100% direct you to the right place. As a former student, I share this advice with you because it is something that I wish I knew more about before starting school as the services for students truly are endless and waiting to be utilized.

I stronly encourage you to find your student union on social media and follow along for important information and early ways to get involved in order to maximize your student experience!
