point #3 about retaining what you read instead of just being able to regurgitate it on exams is an important one It might feel like you're ok if you can get by on your exams, but by the time finals come around you'll be completely screwed bc you probably won't be able to recall any of that info I fell into that trap during first and second year. You want to catch up, but it's better long term to understand what you're reading than just memorizing and regurgitating it

I have to keep up with readings for class, my placement, and my job 😅 I feel like I'm always falling behind somewhere, so I definitely relate and will be keeping these tips on hand
